So often I get asked about what I recommend to buy for bunnies! Instead of bombarding people with lots of links and photographs I have decided to complete a guide that gives clear, ordered options to suit each price range of my recommended 'Shopping List'. All of these items are available in the UK.
TOP RECOMMENDED SHOPPING LIST
In an ideal world, This is the best products that I can recommend for your new furry friends
Pellets: Though pellets are only 5% of your bunnies diets, It is so important to ensure your bunny has access to a high quality pellet. My top recommendation for both quality and easy availability is Burgess Excel Nuggets.
Hay: Hay is the MOST important part of your buns diets, It is essential you invest in a good quality hay, this will maintain your bunnies digestive and dental health. My top recommendation is HayBox Club Timothy Hay! Slighter pricier than pet store hay but x10 the quality- My favourite hay! I do feed all 3 on rotation but the clear favourite is hay box
Water Bottle: Bunnies can access water from either a bowl or a bottle. Here are a couple of options I have tried and tested that would work well for your new bunny. Ultimately, a gravity water bottle is my strongest recommendation as it acts as both a bowl and bottle, reducing the risk of your bunny getting their water messy! A bowl is the best, cheaper alternative,
Forage & Toys: www.lottieslittlerabbitry.com - See Our Favourite Products! CLICK HERE I cannot recommend this small business enough, The perfect place for various toys, forage and treats to enrich your bunnies lives
Castles & Litter Trays: https://www.manorpethousing.co.uk Bunnies LOVE jumps! I have some castles in my run so I may mention a particular baby loves to climb etc. There's loads of castles on the market but this is my top recommendation.
